Is it worth upgrading a macbook pro to a SSD?
i am going to be buying a new macbook pro 13" soon and am going for the 2.4 ghz processor, i am wondering if to upgrade the standard 250 HDD to a 128 Solid State Drive (SSD), is it worth it? will it increase speed like it is supposed to?
Or is it worth upgrading the 4gb ram to 8gb and leaving the hard drive instead?
thanks

The cheapest speed secret is to increase RAM first.

The SSD would be next, but make sure that the Mac handles wear leveling, garbage collection, and Trim, or you will find that over time, your SSD isn't working optimally.
