my macbook white is loosing memory. we have 2 gigs left. i am constantly storing all my podcasts and movies i get from itunes on a portable hard drive and then deleting them off my computer and deleting them from the itunes folder completely. Im almost done deleting everything i own. its not any applications cause i checked them all. i have suspicions that my mum is using it all. but my question is this!!!::::
can your computer start randomly loosing its hard drive space eg ( from a maximum of 250 gigs to a maximum of say 200 gigs over the corse of 3 years) (MY COMPUTER NEVER HAD 250 TO START WITH I THINK IT HAD 80(cause its like 3 years old))

The only way stuff can get back on your computer after you deleted it is if you use system restore or a "go back" program to go back to a previous day in the history of the computer. Then all of your "trash" winds up back on the computer.

Are you saying your macbook does not have a restore program or a motherboard?

Motherboards usually only last a few years. They control the whole thing.

P.S. Do you mean "losing" memory?
