News of MacBook

I somehow have two accounts in my macbook pro. But one of the accounts I have won't let me change my password. I look in system preferences and I see that the option the reset password is unavailable because I think for that account I don't have an apple ID... If I were to set another Apple ID, would that do anything to my other apple ID??

I want to know where i can rent a projector and have it delivered within the same day for a reasonable price. I don't need a big thing its just for a powerpoint presentation for no bigger than 50 people. I will be connecting it to my macbook and i do have the mini display port to VGA adaptor. Also a screen with the projector would be nice or id have to project it ...

Every so often at random intervals, my Macbook Pro (13 inch, if it matters) will run four shrill beeps through the speakers. When I have the computer muted, I cannot hear the chirps. It sounds almost identical to a smoke detector when the smoke detector is low on battery.

Any help?
(PS, it is NOT a mid pitch tone, like beeping on startup or some other problem)

Ok, so I know pretty much nothing about the powerbook G4 so I have a few questions.

1. What's the internet speed/general speed like?
2. I've looked around the internet for second hand versions but they seem to be very cheap! like around $200. Is there a reason?
3. So seeing as it's quite an old model, if I installed the newest software, would the powerbook run just like any other macbook?

But I want to know if it is fast still. I am going to put 4gb ram, 320gb hard drive, and snow leopard on it. Would it be fast with that? Would it be fast with the 1gb ram and 80gb hard drive the way it is?
